Colossians 2:9-10
Colossians 2:9-10 is the thesis statement of Colossians – “For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority.” That verse affirms three fundamental biblical teachings about Jesus:
- He is God – The entire, complete, whole, fullness of god dwells in Him permanently.
- He is man – The fullness of God dwells in Him in bodily form.
- He is sufficient – Fullness of life is found in relationship with Him. Every need that we have can be met in Him.
